[ST] Riding in February

Paul and I rode out to Clatskanie on 47 today, it was beautiful out, almost 
60 degrees.  Lots of log trucks and muddy ponies.   The last 11 miles, 
usually my favorite, had that deicing crap slathered on thick.  I slid one 
or both tires three separate times, and I was riding pretty conservatively. 
The combination of that stuff and some moisture made it pretty slippery. 
There's still snow out there too, and quite a bit of gravel.    Most of the 
ride was really fun though!   I sometimes kind of forget just how fun riding 
is during the winter.  I guess it's a good year to live in Western Oregon.

I also bought a Penske shock last week, and had to take it back to get a 
longer reservoir hose installed.  Now the dang thing is leaking at the hose 
connection to the reservoir.  Grrr.
