[ST] In Search of the Illusive MC Content

On several lists I have read various individuals discussing the dragging of
various bike parts. Without taking an o-fish-L poll, it seems like most of
these same characters talk about the number of high sides, low sides and
other partings of the way between man and machine that they were personnally
involved in.

I have been looking at a bunch of photos over the last few months from Sport
Rider, Bike, Motorcylist and Cycle World with guys riding street bikes with
a knee touching or close to touching asphalt. Guess what, not one of those
photos put a peg anywhere near asphalt. Do you think that the reason for a
whole bunch of peg dragging is just poor form????

If that doesn't wind your watch, here is another one. Those same guys
above talk "track" all the time. In my opinion, track days (I've never had
the opportunity, but would like to) should make you a better rider. The
riders that I like to ride with the most were heavily envolved in amatuer
racing. The question is if you talk track all the time, set your bike up
like it was a track machine, do you develop an attitude that will increase
the probablity of a crash.

Just lookin' for a change of pace.
