A couple of years ago I took an ERC. (Experienced Rider Course) The Blue
Devil had developed a leaky fuel pump gasket two days prior and was
being serviced the day of the class. I dusted the cobwebs off my 1980
Honda CM400T and happily putt-putted off into the early morning sun. I
clearly had the smallest and oldest bike on the lot. During one of the
maneuvers, a slow (15-20mph) 180 degree turn, I scraped my left peg
through the entire turn. When I pulled up to the instructor he was
chuckling. I just smiled and shrugged my shoulders. I guess an even
consistent scrape showed that the turn was smooth.
