I'm very interested in this as well, to the point of perhaps trying to build a
few myself if possible as I've been on that quest for basic amplification and
have found no joy with things like that little amperoo thing...
I will have to google for the background info as you suggest, but if you have
a parts list/plans/schematic/etc. and will share please please please?
It may be a bit of a challenge to get both the FRS/CB input and the music
input into your box? I was about to go with either Starcom1 or AutoCom's new
7 series but I'm not after all that integration and prioritization, so if the
2way and music can be amped for under $100 well, yay!
