I am a member of one Yahoo group. It is a private group and I have not
received any spam from it and it works well. As far as I know the
storage for the photos section is very limited. There is an archive and
it is searchable and if the group is private you have to be a member to
get access to it. For anyone not familiar with the features of Yahoo
lists

I am happy to take over this list but if the majority of list members
would prefer to move to Yahoo group...
