Well quite a few people have already noted in this discussion that 
several volunteers to take over from Eric did offer their time / 
service when it came up for discussion a little while back.  What is 
not clear is what, if anything, was decided as a result of those offers 
- - maybe if someone knows who is taking over / what is happening / what 
the implications for the list is could post a message, it might make 
this Yahoo! thread less conjectural.

If for some reason the discussions about the hand-over have stalled, 
I'm happy reiterate my offer to take over hosting / support.  But I'm 
pretty sure that such decisions have  been made already, just not well 
communicated.
