Yeah, in person you just can't believe that section of asphalt is on a race track. It just falls away so fast you can't describe it or grasp it on tv.

It was awesome to see MotoGP in the states, and for that I

I thought it was pretty exciting. Lots of passing? No. But for instance the drama of Edwards chasing down Rossi. Would Colin catch him? Would he be able to make a stab at getting around him IF he could catch him? Where? Then when it happened the place went berserk. THEN late in race tables turned: could Colin hold on. And of course the whole race Would Nicky fall off.

Maybe it was dull on tv but I can assure you it was electric in the flesh. And the weather. Oh my God. Now I understand why a 2BR/1BA house costs $850K there. The climate is freaking paradise.

Poor Melandri. He had a horrible weekend. I know a girl from Alabama here that was cornerworking on 8 where he fell on Friday. She said he was hurting pretty bad. Then of course he fell again on Sat and on what? lap 2 on Sunday.

I know Hopkins was disappointed. But some salve on his wounds/ego surely is the most smoking hot female I saw there - his girlfriend. Holy Cripes! She made the MotoCys on display in the paddock look like a 82 XR200.
