RE: [ST] Tire Blues

I've run both the Pilot Roads and Avon 45/46 combos. Both were great in general, but the Avon tended to cup in the front. No sign of that on the Michelin yet, have about 4k miles on them.

I've heard this from a few now and was trying to decide on Avon 45/46 or Pilot
Roads...guess we have a winner.

FWIW I ran several sets of BT-020s on my '99 ST and on The Boss's viffer, and
was concerned about the '03 coming with '57s. They felt a little harder and
the rear locked and slid a little easier it seemed. But after a few harder
rides (harder for me anyway, your style *will* vary) I had no trouble with the
'57s yet. Whoever said the 57 front may be better than the 020 may be right.

Anyway I think it's time to say hello to Michelins, that is, after I figure
out what in the hell to shod the TBS with.
