Re: [ST] New '05 update



Hey David,
 
The first thing my girl noticed was that she was quite a bit higher than on the '99. She found this a little disconcerting, Although the wind protection was acceptable The seat is on the narrow side, but long distance comfort is still to be tested. 
To be fair I had the top box and Sargent seat on my '99 and she was used to this. I'm thinking that the top box made her feel a little safer.
 
This was only a first ride and not for very long. She may well get used to it. I'll keep you posted.

So are you saying the pillion side of life is less comfortable on the 05 with the new seat? I'm sure my girl would appreciate the extra visibility of the higher position but does that view come with a significant increase in wind exposure / buffeting etc?
