Re: [ST] Re: ST-triumphnet.com Digest, Vol 4, Issue 35

PFFT!

I watched Jochen Rindt win big in Hockenheim in '68. I watched Jim Clarke die in Hockenheim when there were no schikanes and guard rails going through the forest. I watched Mario Andretti clinch the world championship in Hockenheim in 78. I watched Rolf Stommelen die in Riverside in a 6 hour enduro. True, I'm not as old as you are (thanks God) but there is more to good racing than the yesteryear memories of an oldtimer going round and round. To be honest I have more respect for Mario than old Richard, Mario won championships in Indy cars and F1 on different continents. Has Petty ever left the US? Sorry, it's still NASCRAP.

for Zoltan - NASCRAP

>>> I'm fifty years old, never liked NASCAR and never will. <<<

That's the problem Zoltan,... you're too young to remember the Glory Days of NASCAR ... when Richard Petty was a little boy sitting on Lee's pit wall watching his Dad winning!
