Re: [ST] Ideas on Chain and Sprocket sources and prices please

> I just ordered a DID 530VM (110 link) from my local accessory shop (not
Triumph dealer) for $108. I found them online for that price easily. Just
hit up Google and surf a bit. I'm getting the 18T (again) and having a 45T
alum. sprocket made by Vortex ($60). Can't wait to see what 18/45 gearing
feels like.

Garry,
You must be a better surfer than I am. I'm getting ready to swap out tires,
chain and sprockets. Tires are no problem but I'm having a tough time
finding anyone with sprockets other than Sprocket Specialists. Are you
having Vortex "make" you the sprocket special? I could not find any listing
for them on a Triumph.

I'm probably going 19/45. Theory says a bit better than stock performance
and less bend in the chain, maybe longer life.

Anyone know if you "have to go" to 110 links at 19/45 or will 108 still do?
