Actually, I only wish I was inquiring about putting a "Gen 1" screen on a "Gen 2" Sprint ST.  

Nope, my "new" bike is an '01.

Jeremy Witt inquired about putting an pre-2005 wind screen on a 2005 bike.

Having looked at the 2005 bike and thinking "I wonder if I can put my
Zero G screen on that", I took a close look at the fastners.
Don't quote me on this, but I think the fastenings for the 2005 wind
screen are different than previous models.
It seemed like there was one less fastener so the distance between the
holes would be greater than on a prior model.
But I could be really wrong.
