RE: [ST] 1050 wheelie?

Our local dealer tells me his stock 1050 , with standard pipes, comes up in second as it hits 4000/5000 rpm.

he also told me it was very tight until it got to 5000 kms (3000 miles), and has only started to feel really strong now, which probably means it will have a good engine life. It doesn't hurt that it also looks good.

My RS is brand new (first new bike in 15 years), only done 1500 kms, but I'm already lusting after the 1050.

Hopefully by the time I'm ready there will be an RS version!

cheers
