[ST] 04 RS & BT57's

My bike, an '04 RS model for the Euro market but delivered in '05, came with BT57's.

I've done a track day, at fairly mellow speeds (<190kph / 120mph), and I was happy with the handling, although the tires took a bit of a hammering on the sides- they seem quite soft.

The bike turns in quickly enough for me, holds its line over the bumps and didn't give me any scary moments . Once or twice I felt the front go a little loose on ham-fisted braking, but I never tucked the front wheel in, and that track is notorious for nailing amateurs like me with some treacherous bumps and changes in camber & grip.

My RS is green, with a color coded belly pan and pillion seat cowl, as well as the single sided swing arm. I don't know if its BRG or another green, but it looks good.

I'm a bit p%$ed that it doesn't have a centre stand or a grab rail for the pillion.

All I've done is add an aftermarket pipe, and I'm very happy with the looks and sound, cant really comment on the power because its still very tight and I'm not revving the nuts off it.

I'm now a committed triple-head, thank goodness I didn't buy the VFR or SV.

cheers
