I use the K&N Oil filter on my RS. It has a nut on the back of the filter. Works wonderfully and uses a standard wrench.

That three-finger wrench is what it needed. It worked like a charm. That filter was not coming off any other way that I could try.

Sears sells a three-finger wrench that I used. It grips tighter the more you torque on it. I think it uses a 3/8 socket to turn. Worked for me when I had a filter that wouldn't come off.
