My condolences also Nate,
It is indeed a difficult time losing a friend.
Does it change your perspective.... you bet your you-know-whats it does.
Last year I watched a very good lady friend waste away from the Big C at the 
age of 53.
That's why, after 25 years out of the saddle, my 62 year old butt is ridin' 
a 2000 Sprint RS while I still have the chance.
In one of our last conversations she said " Don't wait, buy it and come take 
me for a ride."
Tomorrow is her birthday.
