[ST] Bikes owned and since departed

>>I'd love to hear what others have owned, and which they liked.

Hi Nate (from 1974 to now):

1) Yamaha 250 DS6 (heavy and un-reliable)
2) Suzuki 250 Hustler (good for it's day)
3) Honda 750 K2 (my first new bike - slow and heavy but I liked it)
4) '57 Triumph Thunderbird 650 (blew it up dragging a H2 Kawasaki)
5) Ducati 350 single (magic bike, straight through megaphone and del orto
pumper carby, one I was sorry to lose)
6) '72 BSA 650 Lightning (owned and ridden *hard* for 10 years, numerous
rebuilds and countless $$ went into this bike, but tis the one I miss the most
*sob*)
7) Another Suzuki Hustler - this one had chambers (woo hoo)
8) Yamaha XS1100 - ummmm
9) Yamaha XS 1.1 - errrr
10) Yamaha FJ1200 - a mutha of a bike, grunt!!! killed by a cage (head on at
75mph)
11) BMW K1100RS (the black/silver one) - travelled over 100,000km on this bike,
the last really *solid* K that BMW made IMHO
12) BMW K1200RS (the blue stripe one) - flashy and fast, but BMW let everyone
down with inferior engineering (brakes) and cheap cycle parts. I had the
Staintune pipes on this one (baffles removed) man!! was it LOUD!
13) '99 Sprint ST (RED) - (new) straight swap for the K1200RS (extras included)
I reckon I got a good deal :O) Was killed by a cage (T-Boned bent frame)
14) '01 Sprint ST (BRG) - Insurance paid for it
15) '03 Sprint ST (BRG) - Traded in the '01, it was so good why buy something
else???
Total mileage (all bikes) (so far) 503,350km

Mick (guess what I'm buying this year????)
