[ST] looking to upgrade my GPS...

Hey all,

At the risk of starting another thread on this, I'm looking to upgrade from   
the used Garmin III+ I cut my GPS teeth on...

I've seen prices for the V Deluxe tumbling lately, and was thinking this could
be the upgrade as it has lots more memory but is still reasonably cheap.  And
I'd be familiar with it's operation and it would fit my mount...
                               
Any thoughts from the collective on the Garmin V Deluxe performance?  Any 
offers from those looking to upgrade from it entertained as well.
