If it's like the airbox temperature plug that I just removed, there is
a wire spring round three sides of the part that comes off. You will
see it holds two latches in the plastic so either wiggle and pull or put
a finger nail under the end of the wire to lift it while you pull.
Don't break your nails though!

Hi all,
I'm doing a good run this weekend, and if the weather stays as it is
just now it's going to be a stoater.
Anyway, I've done various bits'n'bobs to the bike this week in
preparation, and last night thought I'd change the coolant. Drained
and
flushed and flushed and flushed and refilled it, but now I'm getting
zero reading on the temperature gauge. It's sitting hard against the
needle. Since not long after I got the ST 3 years ago every once in
awhile I would see this happen, but it only took about a minute of
riding to pop back into life. Now nothing.
Anything I should be checking? Does anyone know which part of the
sensor connector unplugs and how to remove it? Looking at it from the
side, there's a 'big' part to the connector with a metal spring clip,
and a smaller part at the rear which is just clipped on. It could just
be a little corroded I suppose, so I'd like to take it off and give it
a
clean-up.
Thanks!
Andrew
