Hey Gavin,

I have a Shoei and my girlfriend has a HJC. They each fit in the side 
panniers. Right side up, facing forward, visors closed, I gently place them in a 
little toward the rear of the pannier and hold them in with the strap. Gently 
close the lid. If it wont go properly the helmet isnt quite in. It a snug but 
perfect fit.

More importantly, I can get a full case of beer in the current top box. I 
hope that is still the case.
