Really?
What model years?
I tried swapping the rims between my '99 ST and '02 speed triple.
The rear rim swapped straight over but the fronts weren't compatible.
The front brake rotors were different too.

Or did you find that they nearly matched and just shimmed up the difference
with dead bugs? ;O)

I know the rear came from a racing Daytona, probably a 955i.  The front was 
off Ebay, but I can't remember exactly what it was bike it came off of.  It 
is black, so that would probably put it '02 or earlier.  Maybe there was a 
change in rotors.  I was going off bolt pattern and overall size.  I believe 
they are all 320mm in diameter.  But I could be wrong.  How were they 
incompatable in your swap?

Well ya know, those bugs do get into the stranges places sometimes LOL
