This is interesting!
I thought I'd seen 25-35mm somewhere - it's in the Owners Handbook; RS:
25-35mm; ST: 35-40mm.
However, factory Service Manual has a common section for both models
but ILLUSTRATES the ST with the caption 35-40mm. Consequently I had
actually done 35-40 on my RS.
Just for completeness, Haynes has all FI '97 - '00 triples as 35-40mm.

I'm sure the difference is due to the ST's single sided swinging arm vs
your RS's traditional double sided arm. Someone with a better
mechanical
engineering head than me will no doubt be along presently to explain
the
reason properly.

02 BRG ST - just about to head off to one of the last bastions of
"real"
road racing - the NW200!
(No Triumph Daytonas there this year though - shame.)
