RE: [ST] replacement chain for 1999 Sprint ST

I once had a chain break and wrap itself around the back sprocket on a GPz750, going at about 110KPh / 70 mph.

It was a scary experience, I stayed on the bike, but the back tire and some of the plastic work was wrecked.

Ever since then I've had my chains fitted by a professional mechanic, and the best quality I can afford. Some home maintenance is asking for trouble if you don't have the right tools (like a press to fit the plate and rivets).

Its a bit like the time I found out that I shouldn't have reused the circlips on the small end bearing of my MR50- small mistake with very sad consequences.

cheers
