[ST] NEP Cruise Control

I have just purchased one of the above and I was wondering if anybody had
fitted one of these (similar to the Vista but a little cheaper) to a 2002
ST. I mention the model year since the pictures listed on the site
(submitted by Martin Retherford - are you still here Martin ?) don't seem to
match my bike - the main difference is that my throttle cables come out the
top and in the pictures on the site, I can't see 'em at all... My RH switch
unit is totally different also - much thinner. My NEP unit is, however,
the same one as the one in the pictures.
The biggest issue is trying to find some way to anchor the unit - because
the throttle cables on mine come out the top, I cant use that to anchor the
unit - puts the control lever facing the wrong way to be able to use it. I
am also a little concerned that it will grab the throttle in normal use
(i.e. when not engaged) - I pulled the grip as far to the bar end as
possible and it *seems* OK but any tips or hints on fitting the unit would
be most appreciated.
When I manually anchored the unit to try it, it held the throttle firmly and
flipping the lever enabled the throttle to snap back so it *should* work OK
once I have figured out how to anchor the bloody thing.
TIA.
Cheers,
Kevin
