Re: [ST] dumb question of the day

Before you scoff up the money for a new light and the time to replace it, check the relays. I believe the low/high is switched by relays.

When I first bought my RS I had the problem that one of the two lights would be intermittent. It was four years ago, but I think the tech told me it was one of the relays that got stuck. He replaced it and things have been fine ever since.

Just a thought.

Subject: [ST] dumb question of the day

Hi all,

I noticed this morning that my high beam bulb isn't coming on my sprint RS.

The other bulb (dip and high) comes on, but not the bulb that is high only.

How easy is it to get the bulb out ?

Is it just a case of unscrewing it from the inside, or is it a mission involving pulling bits of the fairing off ?

thanks
