I didn't know remus made a can for the ST/ RS.

Is it any cheaper than the triumph race can?

  Jim, the off-road tune is worth having uploaded whatever pipe you have on. I usually run a Remus carbon and thought the tune was essential to make the most of that, but when I swap back to my regular pipe (an annual chore in the UK, for it's road-worthiness test) it *still* runs better than the stock tune, especially at very low revs. Much happier at stop/start traffic stuff than the regular tune, which is too lean and thin below 3000rpm. In fact I reckon the tune (virtually free) is much better value than a new can ($$$). 
   
  The only real reason I can see (apart from looks/sound) to fit a race can is that the off-road tune allows a higher redline - about 1000 rpm higher than the stock tune - and presumably this is when a free-breathing can comes into it's own. I never go that high myself, but I do love the good behaviour in traffic!
