Re: [ST] Staintune Exhaust

Doug,

I put one on my RS a year back, and have been impressed with it.
Naturally it's much lighter, and is finished beautifully. The sound
is deeper and throatier but not a lot louder.

It seems to have improved the low- and mid-range throttle response.
Have no idea about hp gain, but Staintune readily admits that peak hp
increase was not their main design objective.

Additionally, it has worked fine with the stock tune -- at the 36K
service, the tech installed the race-can tune which produced a fair
amount of backfiring. I had the stock tune re-installed.

Bottom line: I'd buy one again without hesitation.
