Sorry, 

I forgot to add: It was terribly hot, in the mid 30's celcius.

Probably hotter than any ride I've ever done, and he wasn't complaining about the bike being very hot, but we were riding fairly quick, nothing under 120KPH except for a 10km dirt section.
