Hello,
I just had the exact same problem, only mine was really easy to fix, and embarassing to mention...  Loose connections at the battery terminals...DOH!  At first I thought it was in the left handgrip, because I would jiggle the wires and I could get it to shut down, and not start up again.  All I'm saying is check the obvious before ripping into the beast :-)
