Strangely I find my 00 RS more clunky when the oil is thin (hot). I did
also find that the standard adjustment for the clutch lever made
engaging gears at a standstill nigh-on impossible. I reduce the slack
on the cable for acceptable use.

I'm still getting used to the '99 Sprint ST which I acquired on Sep
26. One thing I've noticed , which was less obvious in Texas with
temperatures in the 90's, is that shifting gears is quite clunky
until the engine warms up. I really have to try hard to coax it into
second. Is this a feature of all Sprints from that period and/or is
there a fix? Thanks GC
