RE: [ST] Center stand question



The key is to press down on the centerstand and not try to "lift" the bike with your arm. Put your weight into it and just use your arm to guide the bike up.

Yes :-)

At least you have the handle, I grab the frame below the fairing which makes
it quite a heavy lift to get onto the centerstand. Most importantly you have
to make sure both centerstand feet are on the ground (rock it slowly) before
lifting. Of course the lift should be more upwards than sideways. Perhaps
you were leaning too far over the bike or it wasn't properly on both feet
of the centerstand? Practice makes perfect I guess, perhaps you will find
it easier to grab the frame at the right side under the saddle fairing
instead of the handle. I just use the sidestand 99% of the time, don't
really see any use for the centerstand except when cleaning the bike...
