Re: [ST] Tank Locker

Matt,

I have the tank locker on my ST and I'm very happy with it. Actually, I use it on my daily commute into DC so if you are in the area, I could probably ride over during lunch and show it to you. I work at the Pentagon City area.

I now have over 20k miles with it.

it is not waterproof. I drove my Red ST up to NH Laconia the very rainy weekend October 21 to 23. Itdid leak, but after 18 hours of road time, of which 14 was in the rain, I can't really complain. It keeps the water out on a short jaunt. However, I have the textile version, not the other one.

It fits an a full sheet of paper across the top of the bag, but it doesn't lengthwise. I just fold up the corners and insert the paper...

Anyone using the Tank Locker for a tank bag? Anyone have any pics of it on
their bike, as well as any comments on it? It's about the same price as
Triumph's tank bag, and it appears like it would look better when the bag is
not on (i.e. not having the black harness left behind)? Is it waterproof?
Can it actually hold a piece of paper (where the Triumph's funny shaped map
window makes you fold things funny)? All comments (about the tankbag...)
appreciated!
