Wow - that sucks!! I hope you have better luck with the bike in the future -
it really is a great bike. The false neutral can happen on these when you
don't affirmatively change gears (you can end up "nudging" it in
between...). As for parts, the only thing I can suggest on that side of the
pond is Jack Lilley.
