[ST] ST Oil Leak - Neutral Light Switch (update)

Some months ago I reported to the list an oil leak coming from my ST from what
looked like the neutral light switch. After several attempts my local dealer
identified the source of the leak as being a pin-hole leak in the crankcase,
just near the neutral light switch. The resolution was to peen around the pin-
hole to attempt to close the hole. This seems to have worked, although I
haven't had it up to maximum revs yet. Triumph have offered to replace the
crankcases if the oil leak returns, although I'm hoping that doesn't have to
happen. Apart from the time off the road I'm not sure what effect having new
cases with old engine 'innards' would have? Wouldn't they have to replace all
the crankshaft and gearbox bearings as well? Then there's the registration
dilema's of matching engine numbers etc...
