RE: [ST] Leathers

I use Cool Stuff with great success. They definitely help on those sweltering race days on the track. I don't have any experience in the cold yet, but they say it's works. It's a phase change material to regulate body temperature.

What i have been using is 'under armour' that is used by sportsmen.
The heat gear is great for summer and keeping you cool but the winter
gear is superb. You get it in the sports shops and is thin and lets
the leathers get on easily.

Here's a thread I bet no-one has kicked off before:

I recently switched from wearing MQP cordura jacket plus jeans to a nice set of RST leathers.

At the moment I wear a set of long johns underneath the leather to keep warm, but I can see that will be too hot in summer.

I asked around, and was told by more than one guy that nothing beats wearing thick stockings under the leathers. I'm struggling to get my ego & brain around that one - just buying them presents some interesting problems.

I can see the wife having a few things to say.

Anyone tried it ? [ I'll be even more impressed if you respond to the list! ]
