Re: [ST] In case anyone cares :-)

Matt the ergos are very ST like, bars are low but not bad, kind of like an ST without risers. Leg room is OK a bit tight but it's not a touring bike, I can go a hour and a half before I need a strech and I have bad knees. If you find the ST's leg room ok then you'll be ok on a S. Wind protection is fine , no buffeting and holds you up at speed. The ST1300 is a Goldwing compared to the S in most ways, bigger, slower, heavier. Not a bad thing if you want a bike that's to the far end of the touring end of the sport touring range. For me the real deal breaker and the main reason I sold the ST1300 was HEAT I found the bike un-rideable in temps over 80. As for the S I'd suggest a test ride, most BMW dealers encourge it. But be prepared to lust after one if you do!

How are the ergos and the wind protection on the 1200s? Are the ergos the
same, more agressive, or more relxed than the Sprint? than the ST1300? And
windproctection compared to both? Does it split the baby?
