[ST] Re: Fast idle

Thanks for that Chris. I've been debating whether to report exactly the same thing with my bike over the last few days - with the return to cooler weather in the UK, the warm idle in traffic has calmed down a lot. Almost too much in fact - before the engine gets up to working temperature the idle can be down below 1000 now, nearly stalling. I have it booked into my nearest Triumph specialist dealer (Taylors in Taunton) for a look-see in 10 days time, and will report back in due course....

On a related topic (sorta), has anyone else noticed their engine running better when the air is cool and misty? I reckon it gets both smoother and torquier under such conditions.

Barry, 2000 RS
