Re: [ST] Interesting tail light bulbs



Sorry Chris, but I have to disagree.  The stop lamp flasher that I
installed years ago mimics what I would have been forced to do manually.

Mine doesn't flash at all when the brakes have not been applied, and
when I do, it blinks quickly 3 or 4 times to grab the attention of the
guy behind you (just like they recommend that you do manually), and then
come on solid for several more seconds seconds.

The cycle repeats if you continue to apply the brakes, which is a good
way to avoid being punted across an intersection from behind while
you're waiting for a light to change.

This is not something that is going to mesmerize anyone.  I'm not sure
what you'd be worried about if they blink a few times while you hold the
brakes on as you shift into gear.  You'd still want to be sure that the
guy coming up behind you notices that you are about to pull away.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion though, even when it is wrong  :0)
