I averaged between 9 and 10 miles per litre across the trip. This is
slightly worse than normal - I usually get 10 - 11 miles / litre -
but I think it was due to either riding too fast (on days not in
mountains) or having too much fun blatting about between hairpins...
I didn't get to photograph it, but I saw a wonderful road sign
warning of "Z bends for 17 km". :D Such a great place for biking -
in the UK you can sometimes find roads that have a mile or three of
interesting features: in France you can ride pretty much all day on
such roads (when you get to them...).
And i too noticed an improved Torque although theres a lot of stuff
in it that i guess needs to be in there but i dont want to read......
I agree that it is not troubled greatly by useful content, but has
that annoying element of 'perhaps there is something interesting this
time' that means I can't quite consign it to the recycle pile without
scanning it.
