I live in the damp and wet UK and a lot of the powdercoating on the rear footrest hangers and brake/ gear pedals were corroded on my RS . I've just got them re-powdercoated for the cost of £20. I took them off on Sunday afternoon wirebrushed and cleaned them and put them back on the following Saturday. Probably toook 3 hours in all. If you're a tight arse like me thats the way to go.
