Re: [ST] Oil

I'm planning on changing the oil and filter when the Daytona gets to 5000kms (3100 miles). It was also done at 600 miles as part of the 1st service.

In my view the 10 000kms (6250 mile) interval is stretching it for an oil change.

Anyone think I'm wasting my time and money?

On another note : as much as I love my Daytona, it sucks at doing the traffic/ lane splitting thing. I think I'm going to look for a good used KLR650 for the run to work, and save the Daytona for the weekends.

Guess that's why you guys ride ST's : one bike does everything.

cheers

Ps: What would life on this list be without Steve Ls take on things? I get a good laugh when he winds someone up, and laugh even more how uptight some people get. Lighten up guys - the key to long and happy life is to be able to laugh at yourself (I get to do that a lot somehow...........)
