Re: [ST] New Tiger & others

I reckon this is a great time to be around with the range of motorcycles and
motorcycle development going on.

So many bikes, such a small shed.

I'm keen to see what the new Tiger will deliver, it certainly looks more on
the sports side of the equation. Upside down forks is an interesting inclusion.
Of course as soon as its possible, I will doing my best to get a ride on a
675.

The new Aprilia V4 and Kwaka ZZR 14 look schmick even in artists impression
form.

The thing that I think is a bit of an unknown is the Honda DN-01. Obviously
they've done their homework, but will it take off? An automatic motorcycle???
Perhaps this will become the natural progression for those that start their
riding on scooters?
More and more cars/SUV's/AUV's are available only in automatic. I know many
people that have never driven a manual vehicle and as such its just not an
option or even a consideration.

What will the purists think?

Will we rank these automatic full size bike riding people amongst our riding
bretheren or will they become another sub group in their own right that dont
get "the nod" when out riding?

I guess time will tell.

Brett.
