Re: [ST] Bad news about Larry Grodsky

Well what do you want us to say, Steve? I don't know who the guy is and never read his articles that I know of. Sure it's sad when a fellow motorcyclist dies riding the iron horse. I'm sure we're all sorry and sad but it's difficult to express that to people you don't really know.

It was really sad when Bob had his problems from his deer incident. There was a greater response because the vast majority either knew him from this list or rubbed elbows and rubber with him personally. There's a different level of emotion and sympathy when you're closer to the person and their family. Although I never met Bob, but I felt like I needed to do more than just pray and wonder if he was gonna pull through. If I lived in AZ I would have visited him, you can bet on that.

I don't know Larry or his family, but I am still sorry for their loss. I just lost my grandmother in February so I know the pain from losing a loved one. Because I don't know Larry's family personally, it's difficult to put into words your sympathy because it's hard to tell someone you don't know personally that you're sorry for their loss. But I understand their pain and pray that they'll be comforted in this hard time.

Rich

<SNIP>

I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of response from this list. Larry was
one of the "good guys". We are all diminished with his passing.
