Joel,
Agree with all you said re: deer, but I have run over a groundhog in a
turn on the way to teach an MSF Safety class. Had the presence of mind
to straighten the bike up, run square over the woodchuck and relean
into the turn as I glanced into the rear view mirror and saw the
unfortunate animal rolling down the road. It was still there on the
return trip. I also had one run into my foot on a tight slow
righthander - all it did was roll him over.
