Re: [ST] Rear hugger install on an 01

To tell you the truth, I have taken the hugger on and off a few times, and have never removed the rear wheel to do so. Two things to note - I have the NWS one (don't know if it mounts differently - and it has more coverage of the rear wheel, making it necessary to remove the hugger in order to get the wheel off...). But Rod is correct - the rear wheel is very easy to get on and off if you have the tools.

I put two of them on. They were both the Triumph variety. The first one I
did not remove the rear wheel. I learned my lesson and took it off on the
second. Taking the wheel off is a piece of cake IF YOU HAVE THE SOCKET
which I did on #2 and did not on #1. If you choose not to, make sure the
kids are out of the garage, cause the air WILL resound with the language of
the gutter.
