[ST] Fw: Rear hugger install on an 01

Um, when on the centerstand, the rear shock is unloaded (at least my rear wheel is off the ground). Or are you speaking of disconnecting the shock to get even more room?

On the centerstand and then maybe some straps to pull the rear assembly up
(using the rear grab rail maybe) while leaving the wheel as is - i.e.
unloading the rear shock. It just might give you enough room to fit the
hugger a little easier...

<< I think if you can maybe raise the rear of the bike (via
the grab rail maybe) and not the wheel - i.e. increasing the amount of room
you have to play with (if that makes sense) I think it will go a lot easier.
