Thanks for the info.  Yes, I was concerned about the amount of  
corrosion too - if you look carefully in the photo you can also see  
the sub-frame itself is beginning to corrode too.  The bike has done  
just over 18K, and at least for last two years (since I've had it) it  
has been used all year around.  But that doesn't explain why things  
are so cruddy there.

Anyhow.  Indicators work just fine.  Haven't had a chance to poke  
about with voltmeter yet, but will have a go and see which (if any)  
have power...

Does anyone with an '02 or later ST have similar leads on theirs?   
Any idea what these leads might be for?
