[ST] Battery Going Bad?

My 2002 Sprint RS has been a little reluctant to start recently and today 
required two tries (grind a little, stop, grind again and it catches) each 
time the bike was cold. Is this the early warning sign that my battery is 
about to die? I got three good seasons out of it (40K miles).
