Well its seems my new found fuel economy was an aberration for two tanks only after my 10k service. Maybe there was a tail wind following me that I didnt notice.
 
The last fill gave me 279kms to reserve. It took 17 litres. 
All commuting, but it appears that around town the '05 ST is a thirsty girl. 
If my sums are correct, that gives me around 16.4kms per litre or about 6 litres per 100kms.
Either way its crap fuel economy for a bike.
Especially now that premium unleaded looks set to stay around $1.30 - $1.40 per litre.

Here is the first set of info.

01 Sprint ST Stock gearing, stock pipe  Central PA   5'10"  230 lbs.  
mid grade 89 rating
Tank 1  213 miles     4.2 US Gal.  50.7 mpg    commute miles
Tank 2  241.4 miles   4.7 US Gal   51.4 mpg   commute/back roads

Hopefully the new 07 Tiger will be tuned to provide the same results!!!!!
