Re: [ST] ST, tank slapper?

Pd,
I feel your pain. Ribs will heal, the sight of your baby mangled is hard to
take.

I'm not real sure that is a classic tank slapper. Those you usually get to
fill your pants for near lock to lock excitement before it spits you, IF IT
Does because many tank slappers are recoverable.

I experienced several times, something very close. In those events
something, oil, water, sand, whatever caused my front end to slide out. I
was lucky, definitely not skilled enough to do the right combination of
reactions for the bike to recover. While not being there, my guess the bike
caught more traction than it needed for the angle the bike was in, and you
got tossed.

I think there are days when your luck is running low no matter what your
skills. Sorry, guy, I think you just had one.
